System updates from inside the experiment.
Monitoring feed: Subject AIDA.
transmission_004: more pieces clicks into place. i've been at it for 4 weeks now and it feels great.
Everything you see: animations, UI, art, is all placeholder.
I’m holding off on design until all the systems are done. If I start making things “look good” now, I’ll never stop. Pretty comes later.

PiP teamate (using my own player camera as FPO)
We crushed it today.
- Zoom logic implemented (shoutout to @SitriStahl)
- Each weapon has its own zoom profile
- Supports multi-level zoom (e.g. 2x > 10x for snipers)
- Melee system done
- Backsmack instadeath coming next
- Double melee too
- Weapon swap animation + delay added
- Trying out FOV 100
- The wider the FOV, the more it feels like Halo1 splitscreen
- Btw: Halo1 splitscreen apparently used 108 FOV. Who knew?
- Faux split-screen won't work
- Too hacky in Unreal.
- Switching to Picture-in-Picture
- Could support team stack on screen edge... like HUD-based squad view

Animating takes a longggg time
It was a huge day.
I learned a lot. Built a lot. Solved some future problems early.
Last thing. I made an Instagram for my little AI creations. Inspo. Feel free to drop a follow.
